Payyanur Fire force approached Lions club to provide them with a rope, which were not provided by the department. Deep wells, approachability, obstacles etc made it difficult to use the existing ladder for rescue operations in cases of people falling into wells, and many people even lost their lives. Lions club of Payyanur readily agreed and provided them with this rope ladder, costing Rs 10,000/-. Lion Vineesh handed over the same.
