Zone conference of ZC Suresh Kormath was held on October 26th, 2019. VDG1 Dr O V Sanal was chief guest. Lions clubs of Payyanur, Cheruvathur, Kunhimangalam, Ezhimala and Mathil participated. 

Onam celebration

Family general body and Onam Celebration of of LC payyanur was held on 07-09-19.

During the occassion inducted two members Mr.Mukesh.A and Er.Suresh N.K. PDG Ln. Dr.K.Damodaran PMJF was the induction officer.

Hon.MLA C.Krishnan released the new book by famous teacher,writer and poet Sri.PM.Unnikrishnan Adiyodi during the function.

Hon. DG Ln.Dr.S.Rajiv honoured Miss.Sarojini Tholat for her fabulous achievements in various international sports meets.

Followed by various cultural programmes and Ona sadya.

Swimming Coaching camp

Free scientific swimming coaching camp by LC payyanur was held from Aug 23 to Sept 7th at payyanur. 36 kids participated in the camp. 9 Trainers from Kerala Adventure Sports Promoting Academy involved. Closing ceremony on 7th September inaugurated by PDG Ln.Dr.K.Damodaran PMJF.  SAAF games swimming winner Sri.M.Padmanabhan honoured the trainers. Certificate distribution was done by Lions District Mentor and lions sports Academy chairman Ln.Dr.K.Gopinath PMJF

Sankaranarayanan T installed as new president

T Sankaranarayanan was installed as new president. Dr KM Sajin is the new secretary and P Gangadharan is the new treasurer. Lion Adv AV Vaman Kumar, district governor of district 318C was the installing officer.

Childrens park at Buds school

We donated Children's play park at Pratheesha Buds Special school, Ramanthali. PDG Dr K Damodaran inaugurated the park. Panjayath President M V Govindan, Principal P V Sini and other members attended the program.

Governor Ganeshan Kaniyarakkal's visit

Governor Ganeshan Kaniyarakkal conducted his official visit to the club on 31st Janurary, 2019. On the occasion, he inaugurated a bus waiting shelter and a home for homeless project.

He felicitated Er Ratheesh Kumar who constructed the house for home for homeless project.

He also felicitated cub Srinivas who won gold medal in badminton in students Olympics in malaysia.
