 Former HOD of department of Economics, Prof K Rajagopalan was honoured on Teachers day. 

Dr VC Raveendran honoured on Doctors Day

 VC Raveendran is a well known ENT surgeon in Payyanur. He worked in Governement service, and after retirement, continues to provide service at Saba hospital, Payyanur. He's also very active in Palliative Care society and MRCH School for differently abled children.

Inauguration of new club Lions club of Payyanur Signora

 LC Payyanur was inaugurated on 5th march by DG Dr OV Sanal. Dr Geeta Subash was installed as the new president by 2nd VDG Dr P Sudhir. 1st VDG inducted new members. IPDG Dr S Rajiv delivered key note address. 

Governor's visit by Dr OV Sanal

 District Governor Dr OV Sanal visited the club on 5rd march, 2021.

 He inaugurated a blood donation camp, held in association with Lions mobile blood bank and Malabar cancer center.

He handed over the newly constructed house to the beneficiary, in Moorikkovval. 

 He also inaugurated a road sign board at Puthiyankaav. 

Lions Payyanur adjudged the best club

LC Payyanur won the best club District award. Past President T SankaraNarayanan won Neelekantan leadership excellence award. Past secretary Dr KM Sajin won best secretary award and past treasurer P Gangadharan won best treasurer award. The Lion of the Year was awarded to past DCS KV Ramachandran. Other award winners were Dr K Damodaran, V Balan, U Vijayakumar Shenoy, Er T Ratheesh, Dr Suja Vinod, Dr Praveen Gopinath, Jayaraj Kuttamath, KP Balakrishnan, Lakshman Shenoy,  Gangadharan Allkot and Suresh Kormath.
